Robe longue asymétrique et évasée "Gypse", Bordeaux

I was surprised to find a tight-fitting underskirt in this dress and I'm not entirely happy with it, as I wanted to wear it as a topdress over a -very- wide skirt.
Besides that, it makes the dress a little warm/clingy for hot summerdays while I was hoping for a free-flowing airy dress.
Another thing that was somewhat disappointing is that the pointy/longer parts are not front and back like I thought they would be from the pictures, they are more to the sides which exposes my ugly knees...
On the other hand the color and fabric is lovely and the braided straps are pretty in the way they can fall off the shoulder or sit on top and the neckline is low but not too deep...
So, all and all it's a pretty dress and will be nice for the many rainy days we're having right now, just not in the way I was planning...
